We are

That through our affiliation with Vance Roy & Associates PC,
we now offer complete tax services. These are done by qualified
CPA professionals affiliated with our agency. Simple returns start
as low as $175. You will find this rate to be comparable to or
actually better than the major national tax preparation services.
Again, these are done by professional CPA's.
We now also
represent Greater Beneficial Union. They have an excellent
life portfolio, particularly a life policy for small children. You
can purchase a $15,000 term to age 25 policy for only $25 per year
and a $30,000 policy for only $45 per year. Simple

Larry retires!
(sort of) Many of you know that I've been in the insurance business
for 28 years this spring. It's been an excellent industry for me and
I've enjoyed it. To that end though, I am trying
to slow down a little bit and "smell the roses" as the saying
goes.
So you are aware, I have a reduced schedule now throughout the
week. The office is still open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5
(closed
for lunch from 12-1) but
I am not there on Thursdays. I also don't come in on Tuesday's until
1 PM and I leave on Friday's at noon. My goal here is to have the
girls handle more and more of the responsibility. You know all of
them and they do a great job. Many of you prefer to talk to them as
opposed to me and I certainly understand. Thank you for allowing me
to serve all these years as your insurance agent. We look forward to
many years in the future of being able to provide this quality
coverage to you.
An update on my wife Sandi,
many of you have asked about my wife, Sandi. For those of you who
are not aware, she was diagnosed with a very rare disease known as
neuro-sarcoidosis approximately 7 years ago. We were able to get her
on an experimental treatment approximately 5 years ago and she has
been in remission ever since and doing very, very well. She has
incurred, unfortunately, about 90% blindness from the condition, so
she cannot drive, etc. But she is in good spirits and enjoys life
and we are just grateful that she is still here and okay. Thank you
for all the cards and concerns. We appreciate both your friendship
and your business. Best wishes for a great, safe, and happy 2009.

New and exciting products:
We now offer wedding insurance. Travelers has an
excellent policy to help protect against the financial losses that
could happen with a situation relating to your wedding. This is very
affordable and with wedding season coming up, it might be a good
time to take a look at it.
We now have auto warranty coverage through Mercury Insurance.
This is mechanical breakdown coverage from Mercury Insurance. It's
available regardless of what carrier you have for your personal auto
insurance. It has a low deductible and is very affordable, typically
1/3 less than the other national brands. This is also referred to as
extended warranty coverage. There is no limit on the number of
claims that can be filed and all claims are handled by in-house AMI
staff, not third party administrators. If you would like a quote on

Looking for a safe
place for your money with good returns? Consider a GBU
tax-deferred annuity. We are currently offering 5.6% first year with
a floating renewal rate each year thereafter. This product is very
nice for safe investing. It has relatively low start up amounts and
can build a significant nest egg in the future. For example, $2,000
a year in an annuity at 5.6% would give you just under $78,000 in 20
years. This could be a tremendous help in building a nest egg. We

Consider adding
the following insurance for your home:
Mine Subsidence Insurance,
(a substantial portion of Western PA has been undermined and
a standard homeowners policy does not cover this peril),
Earthquake coverage, sink hole coverage, flood coverage.
Consider adding our Sewer & Drain Rider
that also gives you many other increased coverages. (And it's cheap).
Consider adding an Umbrella policy.
Everybody wants to sue today. An umbrella policy will help insulate
you if the unthinkable happens.
The
latest in Auto Insurance:
Erie
has two new endorsements;
the first is a great deal at $30. It reduces your collision deductible
every year you go without an at fault accident.* I just added
this to my policy. The second option is new car replacement within
the first two years. In short, if you total your car and it is less
than two years old Erie will replace it with a
new
one.
Average cost for this rider is $80 to $100.
Travelers
is
also offering similar options. Please call or email if

Life and
Disability Insurance News:
The following companies have recently lowered their
term life rates. Please call for a new quote. We'd be glad to
assist you. Banner Life, GenWorth, Prudential, and ING
We now also represent John Hancock. They have an
excellent universal life product with very competitive rates.
Disability Insurance,
pretty much all of you should have it. Your ability to make a living
is your most critical asset. We offer disability from the major
carriers and would like to quote you.
